 I am a senior consultant with more than 20 years’ experience helping construction and infrastructure organisations turn complex commercial, client, policy and people requirements into practical strategies that win work, reduce risk, and deliver measurable value.

My experience spans transport, nuclear, utilities, healthcare, education, retail and major mixed-use development. I combine project and commercial discipline with specialist expertise in social value, inclusion, organisational change and culture, and stakeholder engagement.

I work with: C-suite and director-level leaders to shape strategy, governance, investment priorities, organisational capability and change programmes; Bid leaders to interpret procurement requirements, strengthen tender responses and convert commitments into credible, measurable delivery plans; HR and people leaders to improve culture, collaboration, inclusion and workforce capability through structured, evidence-led interventions.

My work has been recognised through several awards including Social Value Leader 2021, Northern Power Woman 2018, and Outstanding Woman in Engineering 2024. I am a qualified D&I Practitioner, and a student at Heriot Watt Edinburgh University in MSc Organisational Psychology.
 

 Career highlights include:

Working for a top 5 global construction and infrastructure consultancy, I established a transportation social value and inclusion consultancy function from a standing start, building the team, services, governance, tools and market proposition entering growth markets increasing profits and exceeding resource utilisation targets. 

I led a UK&I Centre of Expertise for a global tier one contractor, supporting major clients and programmes including Network Rail, National Highways, the TransPennine Route Upgrade, the British Antarctic Survey modernisation programme and Devonport 10 Dock. 

Managed complex stakeholder relationships involving government departments, local authorities, MPs, clients, joint ventures, delivery partners and communities across JV programmes worth in excess of £5bn. 

Delivered several sensitive organisational inclusion and capability programmes alongside executive leaders.

Through Build Impact Consulting, I help construction and infrastructure clients strengthen bids, meet evolving procurement expectations, improve organisational performance and turn social value, inclusion and culture into sources of competitive advantage, by building meaningful community and client facing outreach programmes.
